LWV Cook County Annual Meeting May 5

  All League Members Invited

When: Tuesday May 5th from 9:45 until 1 pm

Where: Roosevelt University  Auditorium Building
   430 S. Michigan Ave. Chicago- Ida B. Wells Room

Speaker: Cook County States Attorney Eileen O'Neill Burke

Cost: $40 Continental breakfast and a buffet lunch

Coffee, tea, and rolls will be served from 9:15am

Buffet lunch includes sandwiches, wraps, salad, and cookies

Business meeting starts at 9:45 am,

Followed by lunch and program

Eileen O'Neill Burke is an American lawyer, politician, and former judge serving as the Cook County State's Attorney. She was elected in 2024 on a platform of making Cook County safer, while also measuring success on how many people her office could rehabilitate.

Come hear what changes she has made to the office and why, as well as what else she wants to do during the remaining two years of her term.
